Phodnicha Bhat/Leftover Rice Recipe
Ingredients
Leftover rice, 3-4 green chilies chopped, 1 medium size onion chopped, coriander leaves to garnish, 3-4 curry leaves, pinch of mustard and cumin seeds, 4 tbsp oil, pinch of turmeric, salt to taste, sugar (optional)
How to make
- Mix salt in leftover rice.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, cumin seeds.
- Put green chilies and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and fry till onion turns pink.
- Now add pinch of turmeric.
- Add rice.
- Mix the content.
- Turn off the heat.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot with papad and pickle.
