Ingredients

1 kg rice grains

1cup spilt Bengal gram(chana dal)

1cup split black lentil(udid dal)

1tbsp cumin seeds, 1 tbsp mustard seeds, ½ tbsp fenugreek(methi seeds, 3-4 cloves, 3-4 cinnamon sticks

How to make

  • Roast every ingredient separately till crispy.
  • Do not use oil while roasting.
  • Grind together all the roasted ingredients in flour mill.
  • This mixture/powder of roasted pulses is called as bhajani.

 Tips

Before roasting, wash rice grains thoroughly and spread using clean cotton cloth till dry. Do this well ahead of time.
